1. We Are in a Battle
Discipleship invites resistance — salt and light provoke opposition, not because we did something wrong, but because we did something right.

2. Two Different Corrections
Ephesians 6 corrects your target (the enemy isn't flesh and blood). 2 Corinthians 10 corrects your weapons (don't fight with carnal strength).

3. One of Our Weapons Is Praise
Praise is described in Scripture as a weapon with an edge — and Jehoshaphat's singers marched out ahead of the army before the battle turned.
Psalm 149:6, 9 · 2 Chronicles 20:17, 22
4. The Question That Matters
Is my praise actually from God — or just my own effort dressed up as worship? Carnal praise is loud, sincere, and still carnal.
5. The Answer: Spirit and Truth
True worship requires both — Spirit (the prophet) and Truth/Word (the priest) in agreement.
John 4:23-24 · 2 Peter 1:21 · John 17:17
6. A King Who Had to Learn the Difference
Jehoshaphat overrode the prophet (ch. 18), then submitted to the priest's correction (ch. 19) — which is why his praise in ch. 20 wasn't carnal.

7. Prophet, Priest, King
Prophet = Spirit. Priest = Word. King = will. We are complete when our will stands behind Spirit and Word, not ahead of them.
8. Jesus
The Spirit testifies of Him. He is the living Word. He is the example of the will laid aside. No matter where you are — Jesus is here for you.
